300 Days of Sunshine
Yes, we have winter in San Luis Obispo. Last year it happened on a Tuesday. Welcome to the heart of the Central Coast of California. San Luis Obispo with its historic downtown, temperate Mediterranean climate and entrepreneurial university town feel, offers everything needed to create the experience that you and your attendees are looking for.

The SLO Life
Laid back and easy. Surfing before work. Wine tasting with lunch. Thrill at the thrift store. Then anything from southern Italian pizza to French cuisine.

Wine Country
From Edna Valley to the south and Paso Robles to the north, San Luis Obispo is quite literally in the middle of wine country.

Farmers’ Market
Every Thursday, more then 100 farmers, vendors and restaurants pack five blocks for the world famous Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market.

So Much to Do
From the coast to the mountains, and the shopping to the touring, San Luis Obispo has options for everyone. Check that item off the bucket list with a trip up Highway 1 to explore Hearst Castle. Or stay local and hit the links, or the boutique shopping on Higuera Street. Looking for something more adventurous? There are dozens of mountain bike trails minutes from downtown. Or simply grab a book and relax at a café.
Cal Poly
The home of Learn by Doing, and a proud member of the San Luis Obispo county community, Cal Poly has been central to the coast for more than 100 years. Set at the foot of the California Coast Range, Cal Poly is home to one of the most beautiful university settings anywhere and has been named the best public, master’s-level university in the West for the 30 straight years in U.S. News & World Report’s annual Best Colleges guidebook.
